Treatment with Invisalign Is Convenient and Comfortable
Invisalign is unlike traditional orthodontics because there are no brackets and wires to deal with. Instead, the Invisalign process uses smooth plastic aligner trays that snugly over teeth like a thin mouth guard.
Take a look at some of the advantages of choosing Invisalign to straighten crooked teeth:
Comfortable, smooth plastic aligners won’t irritate the inside of your mouth. Crystal-clear aligners blend with your smile so most people won’t notice them. The aligners are removable, so you’re not restricted by the foods you can eat. You’ll get the most out of your oral hygiene routine since you don’t have to work around metal brackets and wires where food particles become lodged.
Treatment times with Invisalign are about the same as they are for metal braces, but most patients find that the process is more comfortable and convenient.

What’s the Process for Getting Invisalign?
The first step is for our dentists to determine if you’re a good Invisalign candidate. They plan your treatment using state-of-the-art software that shows us how your teeth will move throughout treatment.
An Invisalign lab customizes your aligners according to the treatment plan established by our dentists. When they’re ready, you’ll return to Daylight Dental South Austin and our dentists will give you two sets of aligners to get you started. Wear the first set for two to three weeks, then switch to the next set and wear them.
After you’ve worn both sets, you’ll return to our Austin, TX dental office so our dentists can check on your progress and give you your next sets of aligners.
Your treatment proceeds this way until you’ve used all of your aligners and your teeth have been moved into the desired position.
