Dr. Aleeahna Phan
Dr. Aleeahna Phan grew up in Biloxi, MS. After graduating with a Bachelor of Science in chemistry and minor in biology from the University of San Francisco, she continued her education at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, where she obtained her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in 2011.
In 2012, Dr. Phan relocated to Austin. She quickly realized a need in the Austin community for uninsured children’s access to oral healthcare. It was then that Dr. Phan and her husband Thomas founded Hapii-n-Healthy Smiles, Inc., a nonprofit organization for uninsured children under the age of 17 that provides free checkups and cleanings.
Dr. Phan and her husband have plans to broaden their organization in the future to include other areas of health care and programs to help children in need.
Dr. Phan is a member of the American Dental Association and was named one of America's Top Dentists by the Consumers Research Council of America in 2015, 2016, and 2017. In her spare time, Dr. Phan enjoys traveling, watching NFL football, especially the New Orleans Saints, and trying new local restaurants with her husband and daughter Ava.
